"Pending I-485" Written in Passport, Any Experiences?

It means exactly what it says "pending I 485" . You are in the same status as what you were before the interview. You cannot use the passport to go out of country showing just the passport. You must be either carrying an I-131 approved document or must be in a valid visa status like H1B or something else.
