pending I-485 & JOB!!

Hello all,
I am H1B VISA holder in 3 rd Year (INDIA).
As my signatuer indicates I have approved I-140 and pending I-485 in EB1 OR category. Since I am researcher (Research Associate)...My job depends a lot on avaliability of funds. With war and other natural disasters going around it is quite likely that I won't be able to keep my position (owing to lack of funds) 1-1.5 years from now. I might have to force to change employer but yes i will remain in research of my area. With retrogression in can I change my employer after two years???? which will be almost 2 years after I-140 approval.
Any input will be higly apprecieted.

why people keeps asking the same question over and over again. if your 140 is approved and your 485 is filed over 180 days, you can change your employer within the same job scope. good luck on your new job!
