I am F-1, and my husband is US citizen. We filed I-130 and 485 in September. What status am I in? F-1 or adjustee?
My question is: my father is thinking about visiting me in the next 2 or 3 years after he retires. He is in China now. I wonder if it is much easier for him to get B-2 visa while I still haven't got green card yet. Cause I heard they reject a lot of applications on B-2 visa in China if your child is in US and hold green card. Also, what material should my father and I prepare? Do I need an invitation letter from International office of my school if I'm still considered F-1 status? will I have to provide information to visa officer about my husband's information? will they reject my father if they see my husband is US citizen? Thanks a lot for the help!
