Pending I-140

Hi Folks,

Current Status: Case received and pending

Texas received my I-140 on Jan 24th.

I had a biometrics appt on Feb 13th; by Feb 18th I received my AP and April 9th received EAD.

The USCI (online check) hasn't updated since Jan 24th...would this be right?

FBI completed the b/ground check on the same-day; & sent the data back to USCI the same-day. Per discussion I had with them today. Also, if FBI has completed the same-day; I assume it was a clean run & no issues?

Any thoughts or advise?

How do you know that FBI completed the b/ground check? Where do you call/ who do you contact to find out? Reason I ask is because my I-140 is waiting for b/ground check too, and it has been some time.
Any information will be very helpful.

Just curious, is background check is a part of I-140 processing? In that case how come USCIS is allowing premium processing (result in 15 calender days) on these?
