Pending I-130 elligible for Advance Parole?

Hi,

A friend of mine has applied for I-130 for her mother.
RCPT date: Feb 4 2002. Is she elligible to apply for an
advance parole (just like we apply when we wait for
485 and need to go to our home country)

Also, they do go through the same FP (finger print)
and then interview cycle as 485 applicants?

Any help is appreciated.

Advance Parole can be issued to you only if you have filed for Adjustment of Status. Merely filing I-130 doesnot make you eligible for AP.
