Pending H1 Approval, Can I use AP?

Hi,

I have filed for an extension of H1 and its pending. I have my AP, EAD and I-140 apporved. Can I use AP to come back into the country from Canada? Any help is appreciated.

Would that in any way, change my status here. I mean would it have any affect on my H1 approval decision? Will I stil be able to continue on H1 once its get approved.
 
Ok, sorry if i am sounding dumb, but i want to clarify. Does that mean I'd be off my H1 till i get it stamped? The reason i am asking is i really don't want to use my EAD till absolutely necessary.
