Pending for final decision.

I spoke with IO using infopass appointment, I was told that my background check is cleared and case status is "Pending for final decision", then she looked and told me that my finger prints are expired, she scheduled a finger prints for me adding that it might be the reason they have not decided yet.

My question to all gurus is what should I get from this information? or what should should I asked as I have another infopass appointment for my wife to schedule her finger prints.

You may receive a new fingerprint notice in the mail since she told you that she will schedule it. Your wife may automatically get one too since the applications are linked.
