I applied for EAD extension (02/19/04) and second AP (02/17/04) and am still waiting for the approvals (Vermont center).
Due to difficult-to-explain reasons, I am planning to vacate my current apartment and move into a Hotel.
Can I give change of address to my EAD Extn and AP applications to a friend's home address 1. in the same city (or) 2. in a different city
My understanding is that the approval notices will be sent to the Attorney and hence no problem. But the EAD card will be sent directly to my address in file and the mail box in the address should carry my last name.
I am trying to guage the risk factor before taking a decision to move. Has anyone faced a similar situation. Help!
