Pending Decision

I had my asylum interview in Arlington Asylum Office on April 15,2025 and i was told to pick up the decision but last week i received a letter from USCIS saying that i don't need to pick up my decision as it will be mailed. I am very nervous as my status is showing as decision pending and i also have pending U-Visa . What can be the decision? Has anyone experienced this before?

Did they initially tell you to come after 3 weeks? Did they call you or call your lawyer or just sent a letter? when did you receive it?

You said your status is showing "decision is pending" and you are nervous about it. Were you expecting another status to feel better about your case?

Do you feel your interview went well? I know every one goes through background checks even if they will be referred to court so pickup vs mail isn't really indicative of much. I think your decision will be mailed after a couple of months cause that's the pattern with most people.

I had my interview late April in the same office and I should pickup in 3 weeks but won't be surprised if they reach out to ask me not to show up and to just wait for it in the mail and my status is also decision is pending.
