I applied for the asylum based on Religious on April 1st 2013 , My case has been in a pending status since now
, after 152 days on September 4th 2013 I applied for my EAD and so far I have not received any update on both cases.
I m requesting you to kindly share your experiences if you have or had the same situations based on below points:
1. If you applied for the asylum , when did you applied? have you received your interview? did you have your interview? any idea about the interview questions? any recommendation?
2. Any idea how long is the processing time for the EAD (have government shutdown affected our case
) ?
3. Can we apply for the SSN once our EAD issued (even before our asylum interview)?
4.what will happen if you get your EAD and they deny your asylum case?
