Hello everybody... I had the famous interview last week and to my misfortune did not get approved on the stop given to the fact that "security clereance" hasn't come through yet.
Honestly it was very smooth, of course my husband and I were over-prepared for it (we had one 3 inches folder with originals and one simple folder for copies only, photo albums etc) The person there, called us and we followed her to her office. She asked for DL's and then made us swear. Then she asked for leasing agreement BUT we live with my husband's parents .. obviously she didn't like that.. but then she asked for all proof, then she wanted income tax 2005, then she asked for all photo albums and removed 7 pictures randomly. Later she took a lot into our scrapbook (a book we have with little souvernirs since 2003) and she totally adored (she was about to cry) and then she got all serious and asked for my passport. Then she said "unfortunately I cannot approve you guys because the security clearence hasn't come through yet."
Now... another waiting game. The good thing is that now: I got my EAD, my SSN, a good job, my DL and my cool car
none of these I had before.
