Hi Guys,
My I-485 is pending at NSC. The client I am working for is outsourcing the work to India. The client would like to continue my project but I have to go to India for an year. For this my source consulting company would not pay me in $ but pay me in Rs. All my taxes would be in India and not US.
What will happen to my pending I-485?
If an approval comes up while I am in India, will I be able to enter US using AP?
Where will my approval be mailed, since I would not have a valid address in US?
Any other concerns I am missing to think.....

not a problem, check with your lawyer but from what i understand, and i faced a similar situation at my old job where i eventually go laid off instead of being sent abroad, i spoke to my own lawyer and he said that as long as employer intends to bring you back after adjudication and would be willing to pay you the prevailing wage as stated by the labor certificate AFTER you get your greencard then there is no problem in going abroad. Entering with AP will also be of no consequence. Just make sure someone nnotifies you should you be called for an interview here.
