PD transfer

My friend has a question about PD tranfer. He submitted LC I140 and I485 together. His I140 got approved but I485 is still pending. Now, he got his NIW I140 approved, can he transfer the PD of his LC to his NOW? I mean if he can use I 485 under his NIW I140. His question is his LC I485 is already submitted, how can it be converted to under NIW I140.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Can PD from approved NIW I-140 be trasferred to I-140 of PERM, in case of Physicians

I am a physician, and I concurrently file my I-140 through NIW, I-485, and also EAD.
Every thing is approval state, except that my 5 years of medical service in underserved area is going to be finished on August 31/ 2008.
At the same time I have my I-140 through. Labor Certification approved with priority date of June, 2006, but the priority date of my NIW is August, 1, 2003.
As per current visa bulletin the priority date has moved to April 2004 for EB-2 from India and hence now I am confused whether I should I request USCIS for the the transfer of priority date or they are going to send me interview for I-485.
