PD\'s are expected to remain current for all countries until sometime in 2004

Goo news...but

Its a good news. But not sure if i am reading it right or not. It says cutoff dates for EB3 will probably retrogress (move backward) in mid-2003. Hopefully we all get approved before that.

Murthy talks about unskilled "other worker" , not skilled or professional worker

Murthy Post:
The cut-off date for third preference, unskilled "other workers" will probably retrogress (move backward) in mid-2003.

state dept Visa Bulletin:

Third: Skilled Workers, Professionals, and Other Workers: 28.6% of the worldwide level, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences, not more than 10,000 of which to "Other Workers."

To:gc gc , esbee.

I also got the impression of the article that they are referring to EB3 only, to my knowledge we have only EB1, EB2 and EB3 for the employment based and i thought they are referring to the third one EB3.

Is there any other category which you guys know or anyone else knows???
