PD question

Hi all,

I have a simple question:
My PD is 4/14/2000 and next month\'s cut-off date is 9/1/2000, does this mean I can submit my I-485 on 4/1? Or I have to wait until 4/14?

Yes, you can file your I-485 on or after 4/1/2001.

i don\'t understand what you guys are talking about. if you PD is 4/14/00 and the cut off date is already to sept 2000, you can file 485 anytime if you have you 140 approved.

The visa bulletin is published for the coming month. If your PD
is current in the bulletin just released (i.e., for April), the
earliest date you can file your case is April 1.
