PD Priority Date?????(Explain)

Can any one explain me this funda about this PD bcos after goinf through the diffrent PD i am getting comfused bcos my PD is 7th may 99 and i havent recived anything (no FP) nothing .....PLZ HELP

PD is Priority Date, its the date when you first filed your Labor Certification application, if your PD is may 99 you have a long way to go, my PD is Jun 96 and I am waiting for a finger printing notice..
