Hi,

I've been reading these forms for some time and i've got following basic questions. I will apprecite if someone can answer to me.

(1) My employer gave advertisement in newspaper in december 2002 and filed for labor certification in march 2003. what is my PD?

(2)what exactly is LUD? lot of people are discussing here that their LUD date changed for I485. How do you know that you LUD is changed. Since I filed my application, i'm reading the same message for my I485 " we get your application on blah bla blah date and it take us generally 900 days to process this kind of case." that message is not changed since i filed my application. So does that mean my LUD is not changed?

(3) People who gets their I140 approved.Did they get any letter from BCICS or only the employer and the lawyer gets the approval letter for I140?

Programmer76,
1) Your PD will be the date on which USCIS started working. This date you can find on the approval notice (if I am not wrong) of your labor certification.
2) LUD means "Last Updated" you can create an online user account/profile on USCIS.gov website and add your case/receipt# to it and it will show you the date when your application was last modified. or touched for any reason.
This change in date will be your LUD change.
3)Only Employer and the attorney gets the I-140 approval notice.
