PD for Non RID vs RIR

MY employer had filed my case under non RIR category. Now he has agreed to tranfser it to RIR category. He is telling me that this will not impact the priority date. I will appreciate if the GURUs could let me know how this transfer wld impact my priority date.

Employer is right. PD remains same when you do convert to RIR.
