PD Date?

Recently, I have been following this forum, would like to clarify few (mis)conceptions.

How long does it take to get a 485 approval once your PD become current, I have not seen any approval for EB3 cases from retrogressed country with PD date between Jan 1,2002 - April - 2002,

Does this mean INS processing I-485s based on RD date

here is my case
EB3 India
I-140 RD Feb,2004(sub) AD March,2005
I-485 RD March,2004 - still waiting

Any comments on my case, any wild guess when I might my approval,

I agree with your observation. I am tracking the approvals since the beginning of this year. No approvals so far for the cases who’s PD between 01/01/02 and 04/01/02. It is affecting only EB3 from the Priority Date affected countries. All the recent EB3 approvals from these countries are having PD older than 01/01/02. I think this is part of the reason for the fast approvals of EB2 cases that we are seeing these days.

You forgot to mention your PD, which is a very important factor.

I think no one can give you a definitive answer (try immigrationwatch.com if you want to get scared :) ). NSC has been approving caes all the way from early 2002 till late 2003, so who knows whats going on. But one thing is pretty clear, if you are from the retrogression affected coutries and your PD is not current, your case will NOT be processed until it becomes current.

So, the advice is don't be depressed. Take a few pills of patience and go on with your life. GC will happen when it has to.

Just wait for turn...I am also with you...July 23rd, 2002 is my PD. My I485 is pending for 24 months......

There are people waiting for long time after FP2. My LUD has not changed since I had the FP2. I checked with FBI and they have sent the result the same day I had the FP. So I am confused.
