PD Current in Oct 06:CSC

Hi,

I am starting this thread for tracking approvals for cases that will have their PD's becoming CURRENT in Oct 06 and that have their cases pending at CSC

my case details

PD:April 2002
485 RD:April 2005
Namecheck status: Cleared as per congressman and infopass
Awaiting approval
EB-2 India.

Status : NC pending [last checked on Jun/06]

Do I hope to get approved this month?
+ "Yes", since this month is better than the previous 2.
- Realistically "No", since name check seems like trying to defeat the abyss by crawling

What is going on with CSC??. Have there been any approvals at all??.TSC is cranking out approvals like crazy.If the trend continues, it will not be long before TSC eats up most of the available visa numbers forcing us to go through another retrogression.
Have there been any approvals for Eb-2 folks getting out of retrogression, at CSC??

Today I got a response from the email

The I-485 at question is still pending FBI name check clearance. Once
the file has been cleared by FBI, the file will be adjudicated. The
Service has NO control on how long it takes FBI to clear the case.
