Just heard the magic words this morning 12/22. My case may be interesting to those who are facing layoff\'s. I filed my 485 in 12/2000 - RD was 2/1/01 and ND 9/1/01. I got layed off end of Feb/01. Enjoyed my timeoff without pay till I got my EAD in March. Found a job end of April with another company (25% less pay). Never told my Lawyer, Sponsoring employer or INS about the change in Job. My sponsoring employer said he\'ll help me in any way possible should the need arise. Thankfully that situation never came up.
Called IIO once to report change of address and sat tight till this morning. Since a lot of people got approved just before Thanksgiving, thought I might get a Xmas present and called this morning and heard my case got approved on 12/20.
