PCC wait at indian embasy chicago?

Hi Cpers,
How long will it take if I apply for PCC from the Indian Embassy Chicago?
If so how long it is valid? 1 year or 6 months.
Can I get my PCC here from Indian Embassy and get PCC from india for my spouse ( when my spouse stays with me in India?) ?
