Folks, I received a letter from lawyer stating that PCC needs to be in accordance with the new law ie from local police station and regional passport office.
I have stayed in US for last 2.5 yrs and before I was in Bombay for 4 yrs prior to being in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
My questions are follows-
1. Do I need to get a PCC from Indian consulate in US (NY) or Police station Bombay or Jodhpur, Rajasthan
2. Do I also need to get from regional passport office, which is Rajasthan (where my passport was issued) or Bombay (which was my last stay in India) ?
Would appreciate any feedback ASAP.
ALSO has somebody got a template for what to get from Local police station ?
