PCC needed for P3 review?

I expecting P3 from NVC in a week time.I want to know,if PCC is must document for NVC when they review my case.

Assuming that you are from Chennai Consulate, the PCC is
GENERALLY NOT required. However if the instructions in the
packet specifically ask for it, then you need to submit it.
Otherwise it is to be carried to the interview.

i totally concur with raju. Also since you are expecting P3 in next couple of weeks you may want to apply for PCC since that takes about 45-50 days.

Thanks raju & Kd for the clarification.If passport is issued after 1997,the local passport office (Iam in bangalore ) can issue PCC in just a day!
