PCC issued with ERROR !!

guys...to my surprise i received my pcc issued by the indian embassy in 10 days...even though my passport was issued in bombay.

BUT the PCC issued has an error in it....my passport # is incorrect in that instead of it being A XXXXXXX its E XXXXXX....it has the wrong alphabet....E instead of A.


what should i do ??? should i ask the embassy to issue me a new PCC or this one will work given that it is a minor technical error....

As per my understanding you better get it corrected.

Passport number matters alot on PCC and have they put that PCC info on your passort also?

If you have time before your interview, better get it corrected. Call them and ask them what is the procedure.

Passoprt Number starting with 'E' are issues in USA.
