They are asking for 2 PCC\'s (local police station and passport office) since Jan 2002. How can we get them in such a short notice? It takes about 45 days. In addition, it is not clear from whom should we get it. Indian authorities say get it from Indian consulate in US and the Indian consulate (Chicago) says get it from India. The authorities in the consulate or the police station do not even care about the urgency of your problem. We should e-mail to the consulate about these problems and hopefully if we all do the consulate would give an advance notice to others and will be lenient towards us. At least we should try.
PCC Issue: We should unite and write to the consulate.
