PCC from SFO - pls advise

Guys,

I went to the embassy web site and checked the docs needed to get PCC from SFO.

Misc form, personal proforma for ( 3 copies) , $20 processing fee and $15 return fee, $ photographs . They accept only overnight courier.

Guys, my question is - when do I need to send the $15 fee - should I send it when my PCC is ready and along with my original or should I send it initially along with $20 processing fee.

I am confused - Anybody gone thru this process - if you don\'t mind pls share ur experience.

U can send it anytime

u can send $15 anytime. I didn\'t want to get the Money order again, so i sent $30+$15 check at once. When the consulate is ready to issue the PCC all i have to do is to fedex my original passport.

send a return mailer

I included a $20 money order, and included a pre-paid return FEDEX mailer along with the PCC application.

You can pre-pay the FEDEX mailer by writing your credit card number on the return label. Your credit card will get
charged only when the embassy completes the PCC and FEDEXes it back to you.

Of course, this requires a certain amount of trust on your part, and keep a close eye on your credit card statement online.
