PCC from New York

Hi Guys!

I got a new passport issued from New York consulate general (NYCG) of India (my old passport was going to expire soon) in July. When I called NYCG to inquire about the PCC, she told me they can issue PCC after three months (end of Oct.) of issue of new passport within one day. I am expecting a Nov/Dec interview.

I somehow don’t feel comfortable waiting till last minute to get this done. Did anyone else had similar experience or in similar situation?

I dont knowabout the 3 months, but i guess if it hasn't been 3 months, you should be able to apply like everyone else and get the PCC after 45 days.

One more quick question....

If you are sending “Attested copy of passport for PCC”, do you need to photocopy every page of passport and get it notarized?
