Hi Folks,

I've been in the US for a while and have obtained a PCC from the indian consulate here. However, my wife has been in the US for only past 9 months. She has also got the PCC from the india consulate here.

My question is: Does my wife need to obtain the PCC from india as well where she lived before marriage ?

No she does not need to get pcc from a local police station in india. Make sure at the time of the cp interview the pcc is not older than 6 months. PCC is valid for only 6 months not 1 year.
