PCC for Mumbai Jan interview

Hi CP Gurus:

We have a CP interview on Jan 28 at Mumbai consulate. As some of you have suggested on this board, we applied
for PCC at SF Consulate General today. We plan to leave India at least a week before our interview. So it is most
likely that we may not get PCC before we leave. However, the consulate has given us a document stating that our PCC
is in progress.

So my question is

. Is that document enough ?
. Are there others who are in the same boat as us ?

Everybody is in the same boat at this time. Nobody knows how this PCC thing will play out. I think we have to wait till the first few applicants go for the interview and find out how this whole thing is treated.
I would suggest trying to get one from the local authorities in India if possible.

I guess i was little late in applying for PCC in SFCG. If i have to get it done from the local authorities (RPO) then
i guess i need to be there as they would stamp my passport. Also getting things done in India in a short period of
time is another nightmare.
