I hope somebody can help me. I have applied for Immigrant visa from my spouse. Yesterday I got a letter from NVC to get a Police cert. from Passport office from the place where his passport was issued. His passport was issued from Ghaziabad. Is it true that the passport office will stamp the PC on the passport or do they give a certificate which can be sent to NVC.
Also, is it true that you cannot mail passport outside India. If it is not true, can somebody tell me as to how the passport can be mailed to USA from India.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
