My pd is 2005 Feb filed from Virginia, P-05172-XXXXX

Anyone in the same situation? Can we keep each other notified when certified? I have a feeling the 2005 cases will soon be processed.

Please wait for this weeks tracker update (BEC Priority Date Tracker thread); that way you'd be able to tell the latest PD for approved cases. manwithnoname will probably post the update today or tomorrow.

Also on www.trackitt.com there has been some early Dec'04 approvals posted for the last week.

My details are below. I do believe those LCs with PD of March 2005 would take longer to approve due to the large volume of LCs which were filed during that period just before the Mar 288 2005 PERM deadline.

I don't expect my LC to be approved anywhere before May or June 2007. Off-course PBEC is very unpredictable in the way it approves LCs. Just hoping for the best.

I don't think its worth-while to file another PERM LC especially since PBEC has recently approved some Dec 2004 cases which indicates it may soon start approving cases in 2005. My guess is that an LC with PD of 2005 should be approved around the April or May 2007 time-frame. However PBEC has been known to be highly unpredictable and inefficient in the past and we should just try to be patient and hope for the best.

I agree with you. Actually in 2005 I tried persuaded my lawyer to submit a new PERM for me. However, after the retrogression, they are reluctant to do that. And now I think I'd better just wait.
