Which consulate is he visiting for interview ? As per the experiences on this forum people do carry them but was hardly asked for it in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai occassionaly asked for them. Had I been at ur friends position, I could have tried to collect them -prior to going for interview.
cheers!!

Hello Ranen,
He is going to Chennai, for interview.Actually the problem for not having the paystub for latter half of Oct (oct16-nov 1st) is , my friend was on "bench".So, will this pose any problem.Kindly lemme know...Thanks for your reply.

I think Consular post hardly bother about whether a candidate is on bench or not if he has pay stubs. They won't ask it even - in Chennai, I think sometimes, they ask for pay stubs.
cheers!!

Ranen,
The reason that my friend doesn't have a paystub is because his company doesnt give him salary on bench..so will this be a problem...
Please advice.
Thanks,
Veerender

While the fact that he wasn't paid on bench for 2 weeks in October will probably not matter, what may cause a problem is such payroll policies on part of his employer.

The employer promises to pay the salary on the LC under *any* circumstances, bench or not. The consulate should not doubt this fact on the basis of missing paystubs and/or language contained in the letter.
