Pay stubs

All,
I am planning to apply for I-140 and I-485 concurrently. But my Pay stub has been messed up by the payroll processing company and now they are saying that they cannot re-print it. Hence I have to wait for 2 more months.
The problem with the pay stub is the Employer address is mentioned as
NY 12345 instead of NJ 12345. I am just worried that If I submit this pay stub I might get an RFE.
According to my employer Payroll processing company is also reluctant to re-print it with a proper employer address for the month of June'04 and has said it will ammend it in the next month's payroll.
I understand from my past experience any time wasted for applying could cost dearly later on.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Akhila

Pay stubs are not complusary. Many cases are approved without the pay stubs. Instead waiting for two months you can apply now. If you get RFE you can always send the paystubs.

Thank you very much for your reply.
But I thought Pay stub would add lot of weightage to the Application altogether. BUt I just dont want to create issues by adding wrong pay stub . The pay stub is legitimate but just dont want to mess up by adding such a pay stub which has a wrong State abbreviation but correct zip code.

Thanks,
Akhila

Myself and couple of my friends did not put the paystubs. Though my case is still pending, couple of my friend's cases got approved recently without any RFE.

But my Lawyer is hell bend on submitting pay stubs. I am just worried about any RFE because of the address issue.

Any suggestions.

If you are worried, then wait. People are telling you that paystubs are not necessary, but you insist. What else can people suggest you? It is your own choice anyway.

paystub

u r the first person whose lawyer is insisting for paystub .No boby from our company ever submitted paystub and everybody is getting approved.I hope your lawyer knows what he is doing.Paystub is not a requirement for I-140.

Since your lawyer is insisting on paystubs just sent what you have, you will explain later incase they issue an RFE which may not even happen don't wait this is America anything may happen people who filed I-140/I-485 three months ago are being approved while others have been waiting for 4 years. Dont waste your chances.

'Why worry when there is a RFE' . For many RFE turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Theirs cases approved faster then us.

If your lawyer is hell bent on sending pay-stubs and you do not want to wait for next month, then do this. Take a copy of the paystubs, change NY to NJ by pen and take a copy of this. You are not doing anythng illegle, it was typo that you corrected. In any case the zip is correct, so changing state should not be an issue. Sometime, there is a very simple solution to a problme, which we tend to overlook.
