Yes, the stamp in your passport is the ONLY proof (until you get the actual card) that you are now a legal permanent resident and is acceptable document for admission into US.

Yes you can. Stamping is sufficient for travelling, unless u intend to stay out of the country for a long time, in which case u would need a tavel document.
BTW, What was ur RFE for?
