When they call me for passport stamping, but I have lost my passport... and I dont have RTD what are they going to stamp ?

Can I get RTD just so I could get it stamped... I dont want to travel anywhere though.

you do not need a passport, just your old I-94, 3 pictures, and the approval notice. They will take your index fingerprint and will give you a form that is called I-155 with the following statment: temporary evidence for permant residence, employment authorized. It is only valid for one year since they said your card will arrive in a year. Mine came after 2 months. :)
Can you tell us about your dates, i.e. when you applied for asylum, when you were approved, when you applied for your I-485 and when you got your fingerprints so that others may know what is going on.

Yeah, BCIS will ask for passport in their offical documents but will not make a big deal if asylee/refugee doesn't have it. They have stamped I-485 approvals on I-94s for asylees and refugees in lieu of their passports.
But I don't know what BCIS will say if an asylee brings his/her old passport and sees entry stamps to their home countries or neighboring countries after the approval of their asylum status. Personally I don't have experience in this and my passport is "clean": no travels abroad since asylum approval plus no more renewals after the asylum grant.
