Hi
I am a student currently in US in F1 Visa, my I-20 and Visa both expire in 2009. I have lost my Indian passport, and will have to get a replacement. I already got replacement of my I-94.
My question is, when I go for a Visa, will they issue me a duplicate, or do I have to apply for a NEW nonimmigrant visa? I am asking as the paperwork requirements of these two will be different. Also, if it is a duplicate, I can probably get one without having to return to my home country.
