Passport Stampped! One Question ?

Hi Folks

I got my passport stampped yesterday at local Detriot district office. The woman at counter took the original I-485 approval notice for both my wife and myself and stappled the photos and I-94 with it and stampped our passports for 1 year.

I thought she would give back the original I-485 approval back to me by just making a copy ? but she didn't ?

Did they take your original I-485 approval notice when you went for stampping?

please advise; thanks in advance
 
Same here...

they took my original too.. i am not even recieved the courtesey copy.. i was not even took the photo copy of my oringinal approval paper. :-( :mad:

if you have any idea.. like .. how to get another copy.. let me know

Guys,

Once PP is stamped it does not matter having or not having I-485 notice etc.
Also once plastic cards are received you are good for next 10 years till it expires. All the best to all of you.
