Passport Stamping

My wife got I 485 Approval. Is there a deadline for time on passport Stamp ? We cannot travel due to some personal reason and would like to get passport stamp after 3 months.

As for as I know, I don\'t think there is any time frame on getting the passport stamped. When I talked to some of my friends, who got their GC approved said that the approval letter says to go to the appropriate INS/service ctr. on a given day (say for Monday) and the consecutive Monday\'s too. When I asked my friends they said there is no time frame specified within the approval notice.

Yes you can go any day from M-F btw 7.30 to 11.45 AM.
But I understand that, the Card(actual) will be processed only
after you stamp your passport.
