Passport Stamping.

As of now i am on H-1 and it is Valid till 2007. As per email from USCIS on october 15, 2004 i got approval for my I-485. I did not receive my approval notice in mail. My question is before Passport stamping can i go to india, get married and bring her on H4. Thanks in advance for your replies. Please let me know.
 
I do not think you can do that. Once your 485 is approved, your H1 is no longer valid.
The approval of 485 constitues a change in your immigration status (I-485 - Adjustment of Status) and thus your Non-Immigrant (H1) status is not valid.

Gurus... Please correct me if I am wrong.
