The answer is a big NO !!
The stamping is just a mechanism so that you can travel
abroad and come back without the need of a visa.
Also, when they do the stamping, they also fill the form
for getting the plastic card. So unless you get your passport
stamped, the process for getting the card does not start.
Bottom line: When your i-485 is approved, you are a legal
permanent resident. Then you'll have to get your spouse
with whatever way a legal PR is supposed to. I beleive
this process takes several years.
