I have very strange situation here for my I-485. I checked online message that shows my case is pending. I called 1-800 telepnone number and representatives told me the same thing. But when my call was transferred to offciers in Texas center, two different officier told me my case was approved in November 2004. My lawyer and I have not received an approval notice. They told me to make an infopass appointment and get I-89. I made infopass appointment. However, I am still worried if I can go to this appointment to get my passport stamped without an approval notice. Does anybody know? I apprecaite any feedback. Thanks.

Check last week threads I belive you are not alone, there are few more threads are sharing same situation. contact them and see what are doing,
btw as they (TSC off) told u , follow them if u have concern about approval letter and going INS office for stamping without letter. here I can share my opinion on infopass use you also can use 'talk to img ' option instead of stamping. atleast they would listen and understand you and if theri computer records exactly same what u learnd , I don't think they would have any other issue to grant u what u desrve.

Good LUck

hey there bbppb- I am in the same situation- exactly the same. The call center people say that the application is pending, but two calls to TSC officers says that I am approved and I shoudl get stamped. I quereid the samw whether they will do it without an approval letter, but the officers kept saying yes!
I have an appointment for the 17th of march- if you are before that, please let me know what you experience- and I will do the same.

Good luck
