What documents do I need in order to have my passport stamped with a temp GC? I-485 approval notice, all I-94\'s, EAD\'s, AP\'s, the passport and 2 photos? Do I need to get a letter of employment verification from my employer? Do I need to schedule an appointment for the stamping procedure? What INS office I\'m supposed to go to?

The documents you listed are all you need. Employment letter is
NOT necessary, neither is the appointment. As for where to get
the passport stamp, you have no choice because the approval notice
specifies a local office for you to appear. It is usually near
where you live.
