Passport Stamping questions

A few questions for the gurus:

- I was told to take my old EADs (in addition to other papers) for passport stamping. The INS will take them back. Do I need to take them even though it is not mentioned in the approval notice? Also, if I do need to take the EADs, do I take only the ones I had while waiting for I-485 approval, or ones I had before that as well (e.g. while on Practical Training as a student)?

- I am assuming the INS will keep the following: Approval Notice, I-94, photos and EADs. Anything else?

- Do I do anything other than give my fingerprints and sign form I-89 (for plastic card) while I am there?

- How long does it currently take the plastic card to arrive?

THANKS GURUS!!

Take the EAD

My approval notice did not ask for the EAD but I had to submit my EAD (not student EAD).

RE:

1. You need hand over all EADs and APs to them. Even though it is not mention in the approval letter, but they will ask.

2. you are right. INS will keep the following: Approval Notice, I-94, photos and EADs. Add Advanced Paroles in this list.

3.you have to hand over items in list 2. sign on the I-89 card and put your finger print. After few minutes/hours stamped PP will be given to you. you are done. you can enjoy freedom...

4.Based on postings on this board, VSC issues Plastic card normally with in 2-3 months from the date of stamping.
