Passport Stamping question.. NY City vs Albany. Please Help

i recently got approved and I am waiting for my approval notice which I know will direct me to go to NY City office to get the stamping. Can we go to any other office instead ? Albany is much closer and more convinient to us. Please if any one has such experience, would appreciate if you can share ...
