We got our green card approved last month itself. Dec RD'2001. Me & my wife did our passport stamping also. But in my son's case we received welcome letter sayin' you will get your card in 3-5 weeks. We went to INS Local office for stampin' but they said it is not required 'cos he is less than 14 year old so he doesn't need fingerprintin' and he will get his card without stampin'. We came back and now i came to know that it is goin' to take minimum 5-8 months to get card in Denver, CO. But now we want to visit India and because he doesn't have passport stamped and he can not apply for advance parole also. Can somebody suggest me in this case, What should i do?? Now he does not have any legal document to enter in this country.
