I'd like to share my experience of passport stamping at San francisco on July 6.
Arrived on 8:15am, not the address indicated by the approval notice but on other side door. About 4 hours later, it was my turn. All my family moved together. We were reqired to show and copy passport primary page, Social Security Card; surrendered I-94 and EADs. Because we didn't have AP, so no AP surrendered.
Lesson: 1. must have social security card
2. to save time, make copy of your passport, social secury card and something I forgot.(anybody can add on? )
Today (July 26) I got plastic card.
