Here is my experience:
I applied I-485 from Florida but moved to Chicago after that. After I got the approval I went to West Palm Beach office to stamp my passport as indicated in the approval notice. But West Palm Beach office denied to stamp my passport because I was holding a Illinois Driver\'s License. They told me that stamping has to be done in the local INS office where you live. So I came back to Illinios and get my passport stamped in chicago INS office.
