Passport stamping for 7 years old kid?!

Do I have to take my kid for passport stamping?, I read some where that kids need not do the stamping. Please share your experience. Thanks.
 
yes he has to do it

i think the age limit is 7. I would take him. I took my son and had his stuff done. he is 9
 
Hello lastminute.,

No need the I 551 stamp on kids passports (<14 years old).
they can get Green cards (plastic) soon.

We just got approved and I have 2 kids under 8, I called INS about kids stamping and she said we must stamp their passports cause its proof of GC and ard is ordered after that.
 
i have 9 y old girl they refuse to do do stamping for her , she is with her mom in same passport , i bring her in the next day for stamping , my advice is take ur kids with u
 
If ur kids r on mothers passport then they will only do mothers, but if ur kids have their own, like mine do then they have to have their passports stamped. Well i've booked my son in for Friday, lets c what happens.
