We just got our passports stamped today. Feb 04, 2004 from San Jose.
* Reached around 7.45am. Appointments start at 7.30 am.
* Were able to get in immediately because we used the appointments line.
- Used the approval notice as the appointment letter.
- Note: NO LAPTOPS!
* Waited almost 2 and half hours for our number to be called.
* They needed only the latest EADs and APs.
* Took our fingerprints and signatures.
* The passports were stamped and returned in about 20 mins.
My advice, please go at 7.00 am even if you are going into the appointments line. The half hour you wait outside will save you waiting 2 hours inside. At one point there was only ONE counter open.
We were told that our plastic cards will arrive in 6-10 months.
